Miss Universe Final Predictions!!

So Miss Universe is this Monday and after watching preliminaries last night I believe I have my final predictions. There still really isn't a clear winner, but there were girls who really stood out and are in it to win it. Here are my top 16 girls, Alternatives, Honorable Mentioned and a Dark Horse.
1st/Winner-Alyssa Campanela, USA
Alyssa has by far the best body in the competition.  FIERCE!!!! If there's a list of potential winners she's by far #1. She looked beautiful all night during preliminaries and really stood out. I love her evening gown choice, it suits her very well. The styling was amazing too. I can see Alyssa being crown Miss Universe 2011.
2nd/1st runner up-Sherri-Lee Biggs, Australia
Sherri COMMANDED the stage last night. She was stunning in every way possible. I love her although at one point I was questioning her. I can see her going very far if not winning. She'll be one to look for on final night.
3rd/2nd runner up-Vanessa Goncalves, Venezuela
WOW! WOW! WOW!!! I was really doubting Vanessa but she assured me last night that she's there to win it. She looked stunning during evening gown and her body is one of the best bodies this year. Her evening gown was a daring one but she pulls it off very well. She's only 5'9 but in this dress she looked 6ft tall. I love it. YAY! Venezuela your back with a stunning girl.
4th/3rd runner up-Lou Zilin, China
Lou was one of the strongest walkers last night. She looked like a super model during evening gown and swimsuit. Speaking of swimsuit that turn at the end when she hit her pose was FIERCE!!! She has an amazing body and at 6ft tall she's by far the strongest asian this year. I was a little scared of how she was going to perform during preliminaries but she didn't disappoint. By far top 5 material.
5th/4th runner up-Viviana Ortiz, Puerto Rico
That DRESS!!!! WOW!!! I wasn't seeing it at first but last night I saw what everyone else was seeing. I love her and she's probably one of the strongest latinas this year. It would be dramatic if USA, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico all made top 5, as I don't think it has every happened. I can see Viviana being someone to fear on final night. Especially if she wears that STUNNING gown!!!!
6th, Olesya Stefanko, Ukraine
I LOVE UKRAINE!!! And she looked amazing last night. Her dress was a good choice and the body is good too. Something about her face makes her very likable. She will be up there, especially because The Miss Universe Organization loves those Ukrainian Girls.
7th-Andri Karanton, Cyprus
FIERCE!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Andri. That dress was AMAZING!!! Screamed DIVA!! The only thing standing in her way of top 5 is probably her height as she's only 5'7. Her swimsuit and evening gown performance were very strong so she was diffidently noticed. I'll be sad if she doesn't make it.
8th-Anastagia Pierre, Bahamas
I can see Anastagia either making it or not making it, as she's not really making a lot of list. :( But regardless of that I LOVE HER! Both her performances were very memorable. She has an amazing body. All I worry about is that she really doesn't have a neck so that makes her look somewhat short regardless of standing 5'10. She will be a pleasant surprise.
9th-Karin Ontiveros, Mexico
Karin really DELIVERED last night. I was scared that she was fizzling but she brought it HARD last night. I loved her choice of gown and I'm so happy she had the same hair style as she had at Nuestra Belleza Mexico. She just looked so sophisticated and that WALK!!! was FIERCE!! She did seem a little shy but she was still AMAZING. LOVES!!!
10th-Gillain Berry, Aruba
WOW!! She has one of the strongest bodies this year. Gillain just seems so likable maybe a little shy at times but she can really go far. AMAZING body!! AMAZING gown. It's time Aruba makes the semifinals again.
11th-Johanna Solano, Costa Rica
What's with the Carmen Miranda DRESS???? She was easily a top 5 placement but after that dress I just don't see it. It was so busy and with a face like hers, she didn't need all the EXTRAS. Her body is AMAZING so that will help her BIG!! Costa Rica really isn't a "sash power house" so they might give her place to someone else.
12th-Kelly Weekers, Netherlands
The style of her dress was a big trend last night! Personally I HATE IT!!! But with a face like hers, she can probably wear a potato sack and still be noticed. She's either in our out. She's in for me but again her placement can go to someone else.
13th-Deborah Henry, Malaysia
Very well prepared girl. She will go far. The dress was maybe a little to SAVE, but he performance was very memorable. People really seem to like her too. Eh!
14th-Aferdita Dreshaj-Kosovo
Aferdita was always really high in my list but she's really fizzled. Something about her face really bugs me. Also I wonder if she even wants it as she's already a very well known POP STAR in her country. I loved her choice of gown and she has a really good body. She will make top 16 but I doubt she'll go farther.
15th-Leila Lopes, Angola
Makes me sad to say but she just doesn't have the X-FACTOR! She seems very shy and her performance was just EH! Who knows though she might take it all, at one point she was my winner. She will make it on final night she just really has to BRING IT!!
16th Internet Vote-Shamcey Supsup, Philippines

I fear Shamcey won't be able to make it on her own, but the FAN VOTE will go to her. People really seem to like her and she's making a lot of list. Personally I don't really care for her, as she lacks the body. Her performance was just OK, but if I know those Filipinos they have probably been voting non-stop to get Shamcey into the top 16.

Alternatives
17th-Iliana Papageorgiou, Greece
People really seem to like Iliana. I just hope if she makes it that her people rethink the shoes. I mean I love a POP OF COLOR but she already has the red lips. Her body was AMAZING. Her walk was amazing though, but I ask myself the same question "is a super model, equal to a beauty queen?" We will see.
18th-Pricila Machado, Brazil
Pricila is the HOMETOWN GURL! But it seems like the Brazilians don't even like her. She was BOOED!!! during preliminaries by her own people. Personally there's something that I really like. She really had stage presence and really worked that dress. If she makes it will be very controversial, I'm in intrigued to see what happens with her.
19th-Laetitia Darche, Mauritius
Laetitia sure has a nose on her LOL! It was almost a little distracting to me. I don't know about her. People really seem to like her and in a year with no stand out winner she can easily ease her way into the top 5. Her performance was alright the dress was a little to much for me. It was almost dragging her down. Seemed very heavy.
20th-Laury Thilleman, France
I'm not sure about France. Laury at one point was one of my favorites BUT it's almost like she photographs really good but in camera there's something about her face. I can either see her making it or not. It's gonna be interesting to see. A lot of people think she might be the one to win, I don't anymore.
21st-Alba Riqueim, Paraguay
She's TALL. Her face can photograph a little harsh BUT she seems strong, and has a pretty good body.

Honorable Mentioned
22nd-Natalie Vertiz, Peru
I really wanted to put Natalie higher on my list BUT I just don't know about her. She seems young. Almost Teen like. Her performance was good and her GOWN was BREATHTAKING!!! I won't be surprise if she makes it. Peru hasn't made it since 2005, so it's a toss.
23rd-Anadie Azaei, Haiti
I really like Anadie, she can be a pleasant surprise if she makes it. Especially because I feel like "Island Girls" are going to dominate the top 16. She's not making many lists but she can easily make it.
24th-Erica Nego, Ghana
I REALLY like Erica. She was a semifinalist in the 2009 Miss USA pageant where she represented Minnesota so she has the training. It's a toss, she will either make it or not.
25th-Laura Goncalves, Portugal
She speaks the language. When I saw her during preliminaries I felt like she could be one of those "Trumph's picks." Only reason she's on my list.
26th-Bokang Montjane, South Africa
I've ALWAYS loved Bokang. I doubt she will make it but I felt like I should include her on my list. South Africa in the last three years has performed very well.
27th-Gabrielle Walcott, Trinida & Tobago
I don't even remember her performance. LOL! She's simply on my list because people are talking and she was 2nd runner up in the 2008 Miss World pageant. I've said once and I'll say it again what Miss World looks for in a girl Miss Universe isn't necessarily looking for. She's a well prepared girl no question about that.

Dark Horse/Why not?
Alexandrya Evans, US Virgin Islands
Alexandrya seems so CUTE. I included her in my Dark Horse/Why not? because there's always a girl who surprises everyone and makea it. Why not Alexandrya. Her body is really good and she looked stunning during evening gown. She's just LACKING height (5'7) and a neck. You never know. Like I said I feel like the top 16 is going to be dominated by "Island Girls" and she is an "Island Girl."

Biggest Disappointment
Kim Edri, Israel
WHA!!! WHA!!! WHA!!!  I was sooooo in LOVE with Kim but after seeing her in swimsuit I noticed she's a "LACKING THE BODY." :( Witch is really a disappointment because she has such a beautiful face. Maybe that will be enough to make it into the top 16 but she won't go any further.

I'm still a little EH! about my list. There are so many girls that can easily make it. I'm still a little nervous for Mexico, Bahamas and Cyprus as they are my top favorites for different reasons. It's gonna be an AMAZING show full of SURPRISES for sure. That's the nice thing of having "no clear winner" because that will make for a more unpredictable show. :) Till then!!!!
Miss Universe 2011 will air on NBC at 7pm COLORADO TIME!

Miss Universe 2011 official Head-shots and Gown...Predictions.

So the official pictures came out and WOW!!!! did my prediction list really change. Girl's who I LOVED I don't really care for anymore, and girls who I didn't pay attention to all of a sudden are front runners to win. I knew things were going to really change as soon as they arrived in Brazil but I didn't think they were going to change this drastically. So I still don't know if there's going to be a top 15 or 16 so I made a top 16.  My list is heavy on "Island girls" as well as Europeans. I can really see either one win.  All the girls on my list could easily win the crown as there's really not a front runner this year.

Prediction List

Winner-Angola
Even though she's not from Brazil I'm still considering Leila the "home town girl." She speaks the language and for the last few month she's been living in Brazil. She's probably one of the strongest African girls this year. Her gown is beautiful and she just has an aura to her that scream "African Queen." She is by far the most beautiful and strongest girl this year, and in a year where there is no clear stand out she can easily take it all. It's time that a country that has never won captures the Miss Universe crown.
1st runner up-USA
At one point she was my clear winner but she's lost it for me. There's something about Alyssa's face that bugs me. She's really fizzled, but you never know she's very well prepared and USA hasn't won since Brooke Lee in 1997.
2nd runner up-France
France has really impressed me in so many ways. Before her arrival to Brazil I was noticing her but she wasn't a stand out. WOW! Is she a stand out now. She's probably one of the most photographed girls at the pageant. She's beautiful and she carries herself very elegantly. France won in one other occasion and that was in 1953. France has also placed consecutively since 2009 and Laury will keep the trend going.
3rd runner up-Kosovo

4thrunner up-Netherlands
Kelly is one of those girls who has come out of nowhere. I'm in love with this girl. She seems very strong and her choice of gown is a good one. She will be a pleasant surprise in the top 15/16. I have very high hopes for Kelly. The Netherlands hasn't placed since 1992.
4th runner up-China
She's the Chinese Riyo Mori, Miss Universe 2007. All I ask is that she doesn't wear that dress during  evening gown. I love Luo. She's so fresh and different. I loved her back in June when she won her national competition and I still love her now. China has placed only once and that was back in 2002. The only reason why I have her as a 4th runner up and not higher is because it's all about how prepared and trained she will be. She's a beautiful and experienced model but is she a beauty queen?
6th place-Bahamas
Anastagia could easily come out of nowhere and win it all. I love her. She has really surprised in a really good way. She's tall and beautiful. Her skin color and face are just stunning. I really hope her jump-suit is just a gimmick to get notice. I really wanted to place her in my top 5 on this list but it's all about how strong she performs during preliminaries. Also she doesn't have  what we call a strong "sash." Hopefully she becomes The Bahamas first placement.
7th place-Kosovo
So this is a girl who I've LOVED since she was first elected back in October. I want to really see it but I feel like she lost it for me. I can still see her placing very high as she is one of the most beautiful and strongest European girls. Kosovo has become a power house in a very short time since their debut back in 2008. They've placed twice and missed the cut last year. Kosovo is coming strong. Aferdita is going to have to perform very good during preliminaries.

8th place-Ukraine
The Donald loves those Ukrainian girls. She will be up there on final night. She's very strong and very beautiful. I really like this girl because she almost looks latina. Olesia is also making a lot of lists. Last years 3rd runner up placement was just the start. Olesia is there to win.
9th place-Israel
WOW! WOW! WOW! Kim is a girl that's been in and out of my list in so many occasions. Well that changed after seeing pictures of her since her arrival in Brazil. This girl could not be any more beautiful if she tried. She's so fresh and has such a young look to her. I just hope she doesn't come off more of a "Teen" than a "Miss." She will have to perform very strong and bring it a 100% percent, as Isreal is really not considered a powerhouse since the 70s. Their last placement was back in 2005.
10th place-Cyprus
Geez! Where has this girls been hiding? Since her arrival in Brazil I feel like Andriani is everywhere and in all the pictures being taken. She's stunning. Her face is beautiful. The only thing that might affect her is her height as she's only 5'7. Eek! Her face and body will hopefully make up for that.
11th place-Aruba
"The Black Barbie" of Miss Universe 2011. This girl is stunning! Gillains' face could not be more beautiful. Aruba last placed in 1996 where they were 1st runner up, I think it's time that Aruba makes it again. This girl could either be up there or just a "clapper" in the back ground. She's making a lot of lists and a lot of people see her winning.
12th place-Costa Rica
In a year where there really isn't that many strong latin girls I feel like if there's one strong one it's probably Costa Rica's Johanna Solano. She's making a lot of lists and she has a beautiful and amazing body, and when I say amazing body I mean it. I just fear that she's doesn't have the "sash power." Costa Rica isn't really known as being strong when it comes to beauty pageants. They last placed back in 2004. They might give her place to someone more deserving and with more "sash power."
13th place-Mexico
I really want her to make it as she is a very beautiful girl. I'm scared that she might come off as arrogant and maybe a little cocky. When Karin won back in September I was almost sure she was going to win Mexico's 3rd crown but as time has gone by she's fizzled. Karin has the body and face to escalate her to the top. I just don't see her winning. :( Boo!
14th place-Puerto Rico
So many people like this girl. I don't see it but Viviana does have the "Puerto Rico Sash" so of course she will make it. She's pretty but looks exactly like every other Puerto Rican girl in the past. Whatever!
15th place-Venezuela
Like I said it in the past "I wanted to see what she looked like when she arrived in Brazil" and I'm not disappointed. Although Vanessa looks a little like last years Miss Ireland Rozanne Purcell. But you know what she has the "Venezuela Sash" there's no way they will leave her out a second year in a row. I can see her being someone to fear because although she looks shy and quiet you never know what she's capable of doing once she sets foot on that stage.
16th place-Trinidad & Tobago
She's 27! AHHHHH!!! In beauty pageant that's OLD! I like her though. You never know what they will go for this year. Gabrielle is very strong as she placed 2nd runner up at the 2008 Miss World pageant.

Alternatives
17th place-Australia
It's crazy how fast girls fizzle out. At one point Sherri-Lee was in my top 5 but WOW! I don't really care for her anymore. First, she looks big as in fat, Second, she looks like a girl from "Little House on the Prairie" with that hair, and Third she doesn't seem very strong.  She almost seems sloppy in her styling. Australia in the past has performed very strongly so you never know. It's all about how well she does during preliminaries.
18th place-Peru
Another girl that was once on my top 5. In this case I really like Sheldry but she seems very weak and like she doesn't really want it. I hate that dress. She seems very likable and you never know she might surprise us all as at one point I felt like she could win it all. She might take either Mexico's, Venezuela's or Costa Rica's place.
19th place-Peru
Yet another girl that I had high hopes for, and yet again she's fizzled out. Something about Natalie's face I don't like. She doesn't seem strong. Peru in the past has sent some very strong girls but for whatever reason they never make it.
20th place-Greece
People like her. Whatever.
21st place-Mauritius
Another girl that people really seem to like. I'm a little adamant about Laetitia just because she doesn't really have a "strong sash" as Mauritius has never made the semifinals. She will have to do very well during preliminaries.

Honorable Mentioned
22nd place-Malaysia
Once in my top 15/16 list but yet again a girl that's fizzled as time has gone by. Deborah is a cute girl and she is from the "2007 Miss World Class," I just don't know if she's ready for Miss Universe. She can easily be a pleasant surprise too.
23rd place-Dominican Republic
She looks very different from when she won the Miss Dominican Republic Crown a few months ago. It's almost like they're styling her to look like Ximena Navarette the current Miss Universe. Dalia is a cute girl and she can be another pleasant surprise who knows. It's all about how well she does during preliminaries.
24th place-Bolivia
Dayana Mendoza is that you? Trying to compete again? HAHAHA! There's no question that Olivia looks exactly like Dayana Mendoza Miss Universe 2008. Just like Dayana she is a very beautiful girl. I'm still a little Eh! about her though. She's 28, the oldest girl competing. Back when she won the Miss Bolivia crown there was a lot of controversy about her age. She won the crown and then she lost it and then she won it again...blah blah blah. She's also half Brazilian. Who knows.
25th place-Albania
Another girl who's making a lot of list. Xhesika a very beautiful girl but again she's a beautiful model but is she a "beauty queen?" Albania has been performing strong in the past two years.
26th place-Korea
I like her. Sora has a very beautiful face. She seems very strong.

Bubbling
Finland

Ghana

Philippines

Haiti

US Virgin Islands

So there you have it my list! EEk! I was very frustrated making this list because as I was almost done the official close up videos were released, and well my list changed a little bit. Stand out were US Virgin Island's (weak sash though), Angola, Bahamas, Haiti, and Australia. Mexico WOW! Let's just say "good thing she's pretty." LOL! She sounded very unintelligent and very nervous. She is really feeling the pressure and it's showing on her video. Kosovo was another one that disappointed me after watching her video something about her nose that makes her look like a pig. USA isn't the most beautiful girl so that knocked off to 1st runner up. Like I said it's a year with no stand out winner. Preliminaries are really going to break or make some of these girls. It's all about how well they perform.
